Erwin Craighead Elementary Guidance and Counseling Program

Dear Parents,

The mission of the Erwin Craighead Elementary Comprehensive Guidance Program is to promote and enhance student success through leadership, guidance, counseling, and advocacy while collaborating with parents, teachers, administrators, students and community stakeholders. Student success and achievement will be obtained through building relationships with both parents and students. Markers of success will include the academic, career and personal/social development of all students at Craighead Elementary School.

The guidance department is to help your child develop positive character traits. The Six Pillars of Character are Responsibility, Fairness, Trustworthiness, Citizenship, Respect and Caring. Students that demonstrates good character are recognized on our Student of the Month board as well as our P.A.W.S. (Positive Actions Within Our School) board. Incentives are provided as well.
